It’s that time again. That time in our household when I have to stop everything and teach someone their multiplication tables before we can move forward in math. Yippy, skippy.
Teaching the basic multiplication facts is not my favorite thing. The good news is, I can pretty much teach two students through this milestone at the same time. I’ve got Minecraft® graphics on my multiplication charts to help them memorize their math facts. And after I get through this, I don’t have to do it again for two or three more years. Yay me.
A printable multiplication table is like a magic table where following each number results in finding the correct answer. Some people call it a “times table.” I’ve included both a completed multiplication table for facts 0-12 and a blank multiplication table for testing if you’d like to test that way.
Multiplication charts are simply a listing of each math fact for each numeral. You know, like 1×1=1, 1×2=2 etc. It’s a list. Of math facts to memorize. I’ve included a multiplication chart for each number, 1 through 12. I did not include zero, because zero times anything is zero and that’s pretty much all you have to memorize. I could have left off the ones – but some kids need to see it in writing.
