Download the star template, print, and cut out (don’t forget to cut out the center).

Trace the star template onto black card stock. Cut out.

Cut a piece of contact paper a little larger than the star. Place star down on the sticky part of the contact paper, traced lines facing up.

Cut small squares from tissue paper.

Cover empty area with tissue paper, paying close attention not to go over the black border.

Cut a second piece of contact paper a little larger than the star and cover the tissue paper. Press out any air bubbles.

Cut the star out from the contact paper.

Glue a piece of twine to the back of the star for hanging on the Christmas tree.

Your ornament is finished! The kids will have a blast making these.
