You’re in! I’m so glad you made it into the slow cooker challenge – you are going to love this! Now, here are a few things you need to know.
Before you finish reading this post, you will get a welcome e-mail with instructions on how to get your free e-book and printable menu planners.
Your first recipe email will arrive approximately 24 hours after your welcome e-mail. This will give you time to really dig into the books and get the printables printed out.
Our Slow Cooker Challenge book and emails will contain everything you need to make 30 meals in your crock pot – if you have a crockpot that is! Just in case you want a little more or you are just getting started, we’ve put together a few resources you might like to add to your arsenal.
Extra Slow Cooker Resources
If you do not already have a slow cooker, we recommend you start with this basic 7 quart Crock Pot. This is an Amazon link, but you can often get this crock pot for under $20 at Walmart near holidays. That’s my favorite slow cooker of all the ones I’ve gone through – this one lasts the longest and works great! You can also read our Slow Cooker reviews here.
Slow Cooker Tools
Slow Cooker Liners are a handy way to make clean-up snappy. Just line your crockpot with these handy things before you dump in the ingredients. When you are done, just remove the liner and toss it in the trash. A snap.
These awesome tongs will help you remove hot meats from hot liquid still in the pot.
A large ladle is a kitchen essential in my opinion, and especially if you make slow cooker meals very often!
