Finding high quality, free Bible lessons for kids can be a daunting task. These lessons are free, and they are also fun Bible lessons for kids of all ages.
Not only is it hard to find solid biblical materials, but it is hard to teach children who have short attention spans, learning issues, behavior issues, special needs, little parental support, and who have been inundated with the world of media. Not to mention trying to teach multilevel children, whether they are your own children or a Sunday School class that spans the ages of 5 to 5th grade. That’s why I started sharing my best Bible lessons for kids on my website called Future Flying Saucers.
If you are a parent trying to teach your children a biblical worldview, I am with you! If you are a volunteer at your church and you want to be the best Bible teacher you can be, I am with you!
Why I Write Fun Bible Lessons for Kids
I teach my own children (ages 4-8) and I teach Awana Bible (ages K-6th). Because it is so hard to find Biblically-based lessons for a broad age span, I design and teach my own lessons. They can easily be done once a week at home or in a Sunday School classroom. Many of the lessons are 30-45 minutes in length, but can easily be made shorter for younger children.
Have your children gather together the necessary items, or go to the store together to buy what you need. When working through a lesson, have your strong reader read the scripture and then have your other children retell the story. Some are more detailed than others. Some are more “exciting” than others, but all of these fun Bible lessons come straight from scripture, whether I’m telling the story in my own words or if I have the Bible open and I read passages.
A main objective I focus on is to teach children how to apply the truth that is learned. I also want kids to understand that every Bible story happened to real people in real locations. Tying in archeological finds helps bring the Bible to life!

It took me a very long time to find a good Bible lesson that my son and daughter would actually enjoy. Something that would have fun activities in, and after forever of searching for one, and looking at all the wrong sites. THIS is absolutely perfect!! You explained everything perfectly, enough for a ‘blonde’ momma to understand! God BLESS you!! Thank you so much for not only helping my family, but others who are in the same boat with me!! You’re amazing!
