With Christmas quickly approaching, it’s time to start planning for the holidays.

This time of year is filled with amazing aromas that remind you of special times spent with family and friends. Aromas also help create a festive environment that relieves some of the stress and helps make the holidays more fun and exciting.

You can create many amazing aromas right in your own home by simply diffusing essential oil blends.

The aromas of Christmas can remind us of special memories with family and friends. They can also help relieve stress and make the holiday more fun and exciting, Take a look at 16 of the Best Christmas Diffuser Blends

Here are 16 of the best Christmas diffuser blends that will help get you in the Christmas spirit:

  1. Christmas wouldn’t be the same without the smell of fresh baked pumpkin pie filling the air but you don’t have to cook every day to fill your home with this amazing aroma. Just blend nutmeg, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon bark, and vanilla essential oils together for a similar scent. Or you can purchase this amazing Pumpkin Spice Latte blend and the work is done for you!
  2. Add a few drops of nutmeg, orange, cinnamon bark, and vanilla together to create a spicy blend with a hint of vanilla. This blend may remind you of the happy times you had as a child during the Christmas holidays.
  3. Do you love the scent of spiced cider during the holiday season? Then blend orange, ginger, and cinnamon bark essential oils together for a warm and sweet spiced cider scent you’re sure to love.
  4. Nothing says Christmas better than the smell of gingerbread cookies and you can create a similar scent with a blend of ginger, clove, cassia, and nutmeg. The nutmeg gives the blend a sweet, mellow scent. If you want a spicier aroma, switch the nutmeg out for allspice.
  5. Fill your home with an earthy, piney aroma that brings back memories of picking out and decorating real trees with your family at Christmastime with a blend of cedarwood, frankincense, and rosemary essential oils.
  6. Pine and evergreen scents are associated with winter. Create a wintery environment instantly with a blend of balsam fir, pine, and spruce essential oils.
  7. Create a warm and friendly welcome for your guests this holiday season with a blend of nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, and orange.
  8. Peppermint candy canes automatically make you think of Christmas but you don’t have to hang them all around your home to help you get in the holiday spirit. Diffuse some peppermint and vanilla essential oils instead. If you prefer, you can use spearmint instead of peppermint or combine the two with the vanilla. Or you can purchase this wonderful Candy Cane blend and the work is already done for you!
  9. Christmas is not complete without the sweet smell of freshly baked cookies, but who has time to bake regularly during the holidays? Combine cinnamon bark, lemon, and peppermint essential oils together for a similar aroma without all the work.
  10. A blend of balsam fir, cedarwood, peppermint, juniper, and spruce will turn your home into a winter wonderland to help get you in the mood for the Christmas holidays.
  11. Remind your loved ones of what Christmas is all about by paying tribute to the three wise men who took gifts to the baby Jesus with a blend of frankincense, orange, and myrrh.
  12. Diffuse a blend of Bergamot and joy essential oils to create a grounded but happy environment where the whole family can celebrate the holidays in peace and harmony.
  13. For a woodsy, earthy blend that will leave your home smelling fresh and clean, mix balsam fir, frankincense, juniper, eucalyptus, and cedarwood together.
  14. If you love the smell of a real Christmas tree but you don’t want the hassles that go along with it, you’re in luck. You can create this amazing aroma without the mess when you blend cedarwood, pine, and balsam together. You can also add a drop of patchouli to the mix if you like.
  15. A blend of wintergreen, orange, peppermint, and cassia will create a wonderful Christmassy environment that your family and guests will surely enjoy.
  16. Are you looking for a way to create a warm and cozy atmosphere where you can relax by a crackling fire? Try diffusing a blend of cardamom, orange, and clove.

It doesn’t matter if you are entertaining guests for the holidays or simply taking it easy at home with the family, these blends will help create an environment that lifts your spirit and puts you in the mood for this Christmas season.

See these pretty little plants playing peekaboo? I See these pretty little plants playing peekaboo? I thought they were goners. See, my sister gave us the bulbs for Asiatic Lillies for Christmas last year, down in a bag full of dirt and told us to take them home and plant them in the cold so they would rest and come back next year. Or freeze them. I did neither. I knew we weren’t in our own home yet, and we were hoping to move into our forever home this summer, so I threw them in the closet and waited. They stayed dormant, and started to develop roots in the Spring, still in the bag in my closet. Come June 5, we moved into our new house, and I pulled out the bag around June 15 to plant them and found that the roots were turning to mush. The bulbs were starting to rot. I planted them anyway, but to make matters worse, I accidentally planted them upside down because I thought the roots were actually sprouts. Oops. Then, I hired my boys and their friends to weed the bed where these are planted and forgot to tell them to leave these alone. The “sprouts” disappeared. I thought they were gone forever. Here it is the middle of August, and a week or so ago, I found these baby Asiatic Lillies coming up. I texted a pic to my sis to ask if this was what they look like. Sure enough after all that trauma, this gift survived. I won’t have blooms this year, but I’m told they will come back next year and survive to bloom. What a sweet blessing that will be, God willing. And a sweet reminder to persevere under trials and hardship. God is doing something bigger, something hidden, something better than we can ever imagine. Hang in there! #momlife #momfierce #momforthewin #firmlyplanted
Today I’ve been sorting through some heavy stuff Today I’ve been sorting through some heavy stuff, especially the unmasking of pedophilia and it’s prominence in the US and in our backyards. This horrifies and frightens me. I am so grateful to know that God will prevail. In the end, He wins. Everything seems so dark here in the US and it’s because of the spiritual forces of evil — but I know God will prevail. His love never fails. I’m putting my hope in this truth. #loveneverfails #godwins #godisgreater #momlife #momfierce

There are so many things I need to tell you about There are so many things I need to tell you about this picture. First #sheisloved campaign with @mercyhouseglobal and sheispriceless.org - check that out it’s important. Second - that cute bracelet came from @mercyhouseglobal about a month ago and *didn’t fit*. Today it’s loose enough to twist. I haven’t lost a lot of pounds according to the scale — I kinda stalled out three or four weeks ago at 17 pounds lost — but apparently I’m losing fat. That’s a victory. Third, my hands look like my moms and will some day look like my grandmas. I consider that a blessing. Finally, it’s been a beautiful day😍 but I’m kinda sad it took me this long to find a red marker and share the love. If you have one handy, it’s not too late to jump on board with @wearethatfamily and be a world-changer! #worldchanger #momfierce #prayformoms #especiallyteenmomsinkenya #mymomrocks
