Everything is getting more and more expensive. I just picked up a $3 bag of candy corn at my local grocery store and literally said out loud “What is this?” when I felt the weight of it in my hand. Everything is in smaller packaging but costs more. If you, like me, are starting to notice significant inflation and finding yourself cutting corners and working while homeschooling just to make ends meet, this list of free things you can use in your homeschool right now is for you.
The amount of free supplemental educational material you can find online is growing exponentially. I’m a big fan of buying a homeschool curriculum – don’t get me wrong! Emotional spending gets the best of me sometimes. Having a complete curriculum for a subject is important to make sure you cover all the important parts. But I also like to get something free now and then for my homeschool.
Sometimes it is fun to use a free product download to change up what we are doing in our homeschool and make it fun and different for a few days or a month. Sometimes it is nice to try a couple of weeks of a curriculum before buying it, and sometimes having random things like a free book report kit is just nice to have in your back pocket.
