I’m often curious how many of us use chicken as our staple meat. I suppose there are several reasons. 1) It’s cheap. 2) It’s considered more healthy. And 3) Chicken makes some pretty delicious comfort foods. It makes sense then, why easy Instant Pot recipes with chicken are in demand.
Easy, because we all lead such crazy busy lives and we love to dump everything in a pot and go about our evening and come back 30 minutes later to a complete meal. That’s why my Instant Pot Chicken Recipe is so popular.
I think you are going to love this list of easy Instant Pot recipes with chicken. I know I love it. Many of these recipes I’ve already tried, and all of them are on my short list for weekday cooking! If you haven’t cooked much with your Instant Pot, here are a few things you need to know.
- Always make sure the seal is properly in place before you switch to pressure cook mode. The newer seals seem to work better than the original seals so if your IP is a couple years old, think about getting a new seal. They redid the plastics used.
- Pre-heat a cup of liquid before adding other ingredients to get your Instant Pot liquid boiling. I start my IP before I do anything else. That way it comes up to pressure faster once I seal the lid. I use the sauté button and then switch it to pressure cooker mode when I’m ready to seal it up.
- You can only fill the Instant Pot 2/3 full for best results.
- Raise up most dishes on the trivet that came with your Instant Pot, unless you are making a soup or stew.
With those tips in mind, start choosing some of these easy Instant Pot recipes with chicken to add to your menu soon!
