Winter is the perfect time to study Arctic animals. They are so much fun to learn about. Penguins that waddle on the ice. White polar bears and their gigantic paws. Narwhals and their “unicorn” horns.

There are so many great books about polar animals. Science experiments about blubber and polar bear fur are wonderful hands-on activities. Crafts and art projects with penguins and polar bears as their subjects will get kids excited about this topic of study!

    Though this is a neat unit, penguins do not live in the Arctic.
