Do you include Advent in your homeschool? Would you like a resource that includes science in the Advent study? Take a look at this nature study by Shining Dawn BooksThe very first thing I noticed about Nature Studies Through the Holidays  is that it coordinates with Advent. Now I can include Science on the list of things we study from a Christmas perspective during the month on December! Am I the only one who gets excited about things like that?

The Nature Study books from Cindy West and Melissa Leach are beautiful and fun at the same time. I am always struck by the beauty of the photography and other graphics included when I open one of their books. You can tell this just from looking at the front cover of Nature Study Through the Holidays.

Most of the nature studies published by Shining Dawn Books can be used for a full year of studies. This particular book is an abbreviated version designed to coincide with Advent or December. The subjects include studying evergreens, light, animals, seeds and more, through a variety of activities — all looking through a Christmas lens. Each week also includes suggested Scripture readings and hymns. Beautifully designed notebooking pages are included so that you can record what you have learned.

My Bottom Line:  I love Shining Dawn Books and can’t wait to incorporate Nature Studies Through The Holidays into our Advent homeschool routine.

Disclaimer:  I received Nature Studies Through The Holidays at no cost to me from Shining Dawn Books in exchange for an honest review on my blog. Here you have my honest review.
