Are you ready to start reading more for yourself? I’m thinking on this theme quite a bit this week, because this is one big change I’d like to make in 2015. Somehow, I’ve gotten away from reading for my own edification. And that means it is time for me to find some books that will motivate me to read.

As a mom, it's important to have a little down time. As a homeschool mom, that downtime is often spent reading about the homeschool journey. Here is a great list of 10 books for encouragement in that journey.

This is a list of encouraging books I’ve found for homeschool moms which I’m putting on my list. Plus, most of these books can be borrowed for Kindle for free if you have Amazon Prime. And if you don’t, they can be purchased pretty cheaply too!

Amy, thank you so much for including me on this stellar list. I am always so pleased when my ramblings can courage another homeschooler. I also highly recommend Beth Jones. She is a homeschool graduate who now teaches her own boys, and she has a wonderful gift of encouragement.
