This particular smoothie might be my personal favorite in the smoothie challenge. I was surprised at how much I liked it. It was like an elevated orange juice, frozen. Loved it.

There is just something about cranberries and oranges together. This smoothie recipe is a delicious combination using them both. It's great for breakfast on the go or as a mid-day treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2/3 Cup Frozen Cranberries
  • 1 Pear (Ripe)
  • 2 Tablespoons Flax Seed
  • 1.5 Cups Orange Juice
  • 2 Cups Ice

Instructions

  1. Add the ice and cranberries first.
  2. Then the pear and flax seeds.
  3. Last the orange juice.
  4. Start the blender on low and work your way up to high speed. 
  5. Continue until the flax seed is pureed.
  6. Optional 4-5 Drops of Stevia Liquid Sweetener
