If you’ve been hearing a lot about Finding Dory this week, it is with good reason. The Disney•Pixar movie released on June 17 in theaters and includes the ever popular characters Dory and Nemo. The excitement for this movie has been building for 13 years and if you too have ever wondered what Dory’s life was like before she found Marlin, now we know. Disney•Pixar has done an amazing job putting together this free Finding Dory Activity Pack for you to use with your children after you have seen the movie. This is a great way to entertain the kids on rainy summer afternoons!
If you want, you can also download and use the Finding Dory Educator’s Guide as they complement each other nicely and the educator’s guide does include more activities your child can do on his own or with friends. Any of these printables would be a great way to add fun to your Finding Dory birthday party! If your children learn best in Spanish OR if you are teaching your children Spanish, make sure you download the Finding Dory Activity Guide in Spanish.
The Finding Dory Activity Pack includes 15 pages with information about each of the sea creatures featured in Finding Dory and fun activities to enjoy.While some of these activity pages do require printing, you could also upload the PDF ebook to your child’s tablet to enjoy the text and read the directions for crafts and games.
Activities include Meet Dory’s Ocean Pals, You Can Help Protect These Animals, Coral Reef by Numbers, Crafty Recycling, Speak Like a Whale, Seek the Sea Urchins, Ocean Icon Investigation, Aquatic Animal Observations, and Selecting the Right Pet Fish. In Meet Dory’s Ocean Pals, pictures of the real animals are included next to the Disney animation so that you can see what these animals look like in real life.
