I’ve felt for a long time that it’s hard to come by free printable Christmas worksheets for the nativity story. So I get super excited when I can have a set created to gift you. You can download our nativity handwriting practice worksheets and use them over and over with your kids during the month of December. Kids love to have Christmas-themed worksheets, and it helps motivate them to keep working hard during the holidays! We’ve also been collecting links for all the various free printable Christmas worksheets we could find just in case you are looking too.

While our Christmas handwriting worksheets are perfect for preschool or kindergarten, even older kids can use a refresher on how to form letters and writing neatly. I’ve been having my older boys (age 9) work on them just to get a bit of a reminder of how handwriting is supposed to work. To make it even more fun, use these incredible erasing ink pens. (I got a set for me, and my boys won’t leave them alone!) They’re the kind you always wish you had growing up. They literally erase so easy!

Our free printable Christmas worksheets include 27 pages of beginning handwriting practice with a demonstration of proper letter formation at the top, and a beautiful nativity illustration on each page. Just the basic alphabet, perfect for one letter per day during December! As your child works on each page, you can brainstorm things from the Christmas Story that start with that letter, or come up with things you are thankful for that start with that letter.

[…] What if math for your preschooler could always be bright and colorful and fun and related to the nearest holiday or event or experience? I have always loved to connect my preschool kids worksheets and subjects with their actual lives. Day trips, activities, holidays, concerts, events, church topics and favorite toys can all be tied into your learning time. In fact, preschool kids love to learn in themes. So using our Christmas printable kids will love for math throughout December is fun and engaging. If these are perfect for your little ones, you will also love these Nativity Handwriting worksheets for practicing letter formation. […]
