Challenging does not even begin to describe this thing that we call homeschooling. We have children to educate, and that means we have to spend time truly understanding the educational needs of our children, tailor what we are doing to each child’s needs, spend one-on-one time with each child teaching to their skill set, cover every necessary academic subject well, plus tack on some electives for their interests, and all while keeping a clean, neat house, serving three nutritious meals every day, nurturing our marriage, and training and discipling our children for Jesus. We have to do it all.

Right?

Ahem.

#Homeschool With Joy -- be encouraged #Homeschooling Mom.

I’ve been so encouraged by this wonderful video series from veteran Homeschool Mom, Terri Johnson. The first video, Homeschool With Joy: How to Stay Motivated and Be Consistent in Homeschooling will help you stay strong on the journey. The second video, Homeschool With Joy: How to Strike a Balance between Schoolwork and Housework will help you find that happy place called balance. The third video, Homeschool With Joy: How to Set Proper Expectations, Develop Patience and Control Anger, yep, that pretty much explains itself. The final video (coming soon) is called Homeschool With Joy: MAKE THIS THE BEST YEAR POSSIBLE.

If you need encouragement, (and I don’t know about you, but I definitely do!) please take a moment for yourself today and watch these three videos from my friend Terri.

You will be blessed.
