When we finished up our first review of a See The Light DVD, I asked my children their opinion. “Do you want me to request another dvd for review, or would you rather I not?” I asked each child one-on-one (so they didn’t influence each other.) I was surprised to get 100% positive response from the five children who were involved in the art lessons. Even though the two little ones didn’t even finish a project, even they were excited to get more of these DVDs.
What really surprised me was how excited my twelve year old was about getting more DVDs. In fact, when our newest review See The Light DVD arrived, they all wanted to open it and get started the first day! I made them wait until today – the day after Thanksgiving – because this time we are reviewing the Christmas DVD. The Gift of Love.
We started our Christmas celebration off with a bang this morning – we watched the Bible story through art on the DVD, and then completed the first lesson – a line art drawing called Away in the Manger. As always, my children were intensely focused on following all of the steps as the master artist explained each part. My seven-year-old gets a little frustrated with trying to keep up and we do lots of pausing so that each child can follow along. I enjoyed watching him actually work to help the four-year-olds too. The art projects are really too old for the four-year-olds but they enjoy trying to keep up with the big kids.
After about an hour, we had three who had completed art projects, and of course their favorite part was the glow-in-the-dark factor that sneaks in to See The Light art projects. We had to go into the a dark room with the black light and watch their artwork glow of course. It is always fun to see how excited they get to watch that special touch bring their art to life.
My Bottom Line: We all enjoy the art project DVDs published by See the Light and we look forward to completing more projects. The Gift of Love is absolutely perfect for Christmas time art projects and fits in wonderfully with our Advent celebration.
Hi Amy,
We have all of Art Class but would love to have Art Projects! It looks wonderful! I can’t believe how much See the Light has grown over the past two years! It is amazing and I am certain Pat and the team are thankful for the many blessings they are received as See the Light has grown.
Thank you for this wonderful giveaway!

We were recently able to review Paper Jungle from See the Light and my 10 year old added them to her Christmas List. I think we would like to try any of the Bible story DVDs.
