We had quite a bit of fun today using the Alphabet Notebooking Pages set from NotebookingPages.com.

Alphabet Notebooking Pages -- Homeschooling gets a jumpstart with these notebooking pages. Here's how we use them in our homeschool.

First, we drew pictures of something that started with the letter A. Both boys chose to draw an apple and used strange colors but I do try to let them have choices in decisions which can have no negative consequences. After they finished drawing their apples, I wrote a capital letter A and lower case a for them to copy on each line. I had them fill up the lines with copies of the letter. At the bottom, they enjoyed writing their names.

After the first sheet was complete, we colored the large letter sheet and practiced the sounds. If I were a super organized Mama I would have had something starting with the letter A for them to glue on these letters! For tomorrow, we have a mini book to put together for the letter A and a few more pages to use before we move on to the letter B.

More ways to use the Alphabet Notebooking Pages set:

  • Complete the pages for one letter per week.
  • Supplement your preschool curriculum.
  • Use magazine pictures instead of drawing your own.
  • Copy A words with older students instead of just practicing the letters.
  • Use the pages in a lap book and make one for each letter.

This is just one of hundreds of sets included in the full membership we enjoy using in our homeschool. We have enjoyed using the State Study Notebooking Pages for Geography, the geology pages for our rock studies,  the blank notebooking pages for book reports, and the Web-App for creating copywork pages. My kids love having beautiful papers to use for notebooking projects of any type!
