My family was asked to review a case of BODYARMOR — the new sports drink. Frankly, I’m in love. The ingredients are so good for you. Coconut water. Vitamins. All the good things, and nothing artificial. From a mom’s perspective, it doesn’t get any better than that. Of the four boys who tried BODYARMOR — three were also enamored. We like it. And I especially like that it’s a healthy choice.

So that’s Caleb drinking BODYARMOR in the picture. He’s 9. We use BODYARMOR for him after parkour class. He always comes out of this active ninja training very thirsty and is very happy when I have a BODYARMOR Super Drink waiting for him. In the picture, he is drinking the Orange Mango flavor. BODYARMOR also comes in Strawberry Banana, Fruit Punch, Tropical Punch, Grape, Lemon-Lime, and Mixed Berry.

When I asked Caleb what he thought about this new sports drink he said, “BODYARMOR is awesome.”

So let’s talk for a minute about what BODYARMOR doesn’t have. It’s missing gluten, preservatives, caffeine, or nuts and has nothing artificial! I’m especially excited that it does not contain preservatives or anything artificial. And what it does have? Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Niacin, Folic Acid, Magnesium, Zinc, and Pantothenic Acid. And Electrolytes. And it’s certified Kosher. That’s a pretty significant list of good things.

This is Joshua, drinking the tropical punch flavor of BODYARMOR. Joshua is six and drinks this new sports drink after parkour class. Tropical Punch is his favorite and he asks for it at the store.

When I asked Joshua what he thought about BODYARMOR he said, “I want some right now because I like it.”

Around here (DC-Baltimore area), we can buy BODYARMOR at Target and Wegmans for sure, and I’ve also (unofficially) spotted it at Giant. Just in case you are wondering, it is also available in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Cincinnati, and Cleveland. Have you spotted it anywhere else? Let me know in the comments!

Peter is the youngest six-year-old in the family. In this picture, he is drinking BODYARMOR outside after Parkour class. When I asked him what he thought of BODYARMOR, he said:

“I think it’s awesome, nice, and really good!”

And I think that pretty much sums it up for all of us. If you’ve been getting frustrated with artificial colors, high sodium, high calories, and preservatives –maybe it’s time to #rethinkyoursportsdrink.

My kids loved this drink. I was tired of drinking Gatorade and water. I’m currently pregnant and constantly feeling and being dehydrated. Peeing every 5 minutes means I have to constantly keep something handy to drink. I saw these at a gas station and on a whim, I just grabbed one. It was actually really good. And the vitamin aspect of it really attracts me to it more than Gatorade. They are a bit pricier of course but they are worth it to me. My kids LOVE them as well.
