This post has been sponsored by Suppressatite™. All opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

Christmas is here and New Year’s Day is rapidly approaching and with those two holidays comes plenty of opportunities to eat. And eat well. But what you don’t find during these holidays is much information about how to prevent weight gain and maintain your weight so that come January you can hit the ground running with your weight loss journey.

Because we all know that January is *the month* for weight loss goals, it seems wise to set ourselves up for success. And yet, who wants to give up holiday fudge? Notice I am not talking about losing weight over the holidays. I’m not writing a post about “how can I lose weight without dieting?” For the next two weeks, it’s all about weight maintenance.

Best Appetite Suppressant Women

Maintaining your weight during the holidays is all about making wise choices.

Eat Smaller Portions at Meals.

As you fill your plate with food at each meal, purpose to add one tablespoon less of everything. Smaller portions of meat and most especially smaller portions of carbohydrates and starches. As Americans we do tend to serve ourselves portions that are way too large.

Take a Walk.

For the last couple weeks of December, purpose to get out and walk each day. In college, the physical fitness course I took taught that walking for 30 minutes a day, four days a week is enough to maintain your current weight with no changes in diet. Now, since it is the holidays and your intake of sweets and carbs might be increasing, try walking every single day or at least six days a week.

Plan your Sweets Intake.

Set reasonable goals for yourself like “only eat two sweets at this party” or “only one of each cookie type per day” or something that says moderation to you. Moderate your sweets intake. Notice I’m not saying to cut out sweets over the holidays altogether. Just avoid going crazy.

Cut Back on Sugary Drinks.

If you normally consume soda or sweet tea or juice each day, now is a good time to cut back on those so that you can enjoy the holiday sweets you love. You are balancing the calories out here. Trading one for the other.

Take an Appetite Suppressant.

For the next two weeks, consider taking natural appetite suppressant supplements like Suppressatite. Rather than relying on a single ingredient, Suppressatite supplies 7 powerful non-stimulant botanicals, minerals and antioxidants, including a patent pending Green Coffee Bean extract, GCB70™. Pairing GCB70™ with select herbs and minerals to gently influence multiple body systems, Suppressatite’s formula provides dynamic effects, not only to promote a balanced appetite but also to support healthy metabolism and mood. Taking Suppressatite helps you with eating smaller portions at meals, planning and controlling your sugar intake, and cutting back on sugary drinks – that’s three of the four ways you can work on maintaining your weight over the holidays.

Taking an appetite suppressant can be tricky for those of us who are spontaneous and forgetful. I am finding it incredibly helpful to set a time on my phone about 30 minutes before I would normally eat lunch and dinner. You have to take Suppressatite 30 minutes before your two biggest meals, but without a timer I usually forget until my food is ready.

I also find it helpful to keep Suppressatite out where I can see it, like on the windowsill or somewhere really obvious. Since I am in the kitchen pretty often to clean up messes or make meals or snacks for small children, the kitchen is a great place for me to keep the pink bottle of Suppressatite handy. That way when my timer goes off I instantly remember what it is for.

I’ve read a lot about using Garcenia Cambogia in weight loss supplements before, and even tried a few with some success. But Suppressatite is different. For one thing, it is affordable. For another, it’s not just one or two ingredients! The Suppressatite formulation provides seven powerful stimulant-free botanicals, minerals, and antioxidants that address diverse body systems – it’s not just about keeping hunger at bay.

So if you are wondering if I am taking Suppressatite for women over the holidays, the answer is yes.
