This Ginger Pear smoothie was a huge hit at this house. I loved it, the boys loved it. I was actually really surprised that they liked it – I thought the ginger would upset them. The key here is the Vanilla Almond milk. Makes it over the top delicious!
Gingery Pear Smoothie Recipe
- Yield: 5 Cups 1x
- 3 Cups Ice
- 2 Pears (Roughly chopped, skin on)
- 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
- 7 Slices Ginger (I used Candied Ginger (true confessions) )
- 1 3/4 Cups Vanilla Almond Milk
- Ice and Pears first. Then Seeds. Then Liquids. Then Ginger slices. Blend on low, accelerating to high slowly and puree until the seeds disappear.
