Oh my goodness, the unicorn phase! Unicorns seem only to be growing in popularity in recent months, and the search is on for perfect unicorn treats. Our unicorn treat bags are the perfect answer to your party dilemma! Grab the free printable, add some cotton candy in a clear bag from Dollar Tree or Michaels, and staple it all together. Your guests are going to love their unicorn party treats and they are so simple to put together.

Your kids are going to want these for their perfect unicorn birthday party. I mean, who doesn’t want to give their friends Unicorn Poo? Actually, my son picked the Unicorn Toots treat bags, which is not too surprising since you can see the gaseous clouds floating away. He loved that touch! Also perfect, because what kid doesn’t like cotton candy? And with the emphasis on the poo emoji, and the unicorn poo emoji these days, it’s a cool and exciting trend.

Unicorn Treat bags! Perfect for birthday party or valentines day, our unicorn party bags are the perfect unicorn treat for your fan! These make awesome unicorn birthday party favors! Includes two versions: toots and poo.

Putting Together Your Unicorn Treat Bags

So you’ve got the clear bags, and you’ve made or purchased the cotton candy, and you have the stapler, right? And you’ve printed out one template per child attending the party? Layer the cotton candy in the bottom of the bag, in 1″ strips, stacked on top of each other by color: pink, green, and blue. With the cotton candy in place, fold over the top edge of the bag a few times, about 1 inch folds or more.

Have your child fill out the “To: and From:” section on the back. It is much easier to label all of the free printable treat bag toppers before you fold and staple them! Next, fold in half and staple the treat bag toppers in place. Your unicorn treats are ready to go and they look amazing! Need easy? You can even buy actual cotton candy on Amazon now!

Making cotton candy for your unicorn treats is not as hard or as expensive as you think. We found an affordable cotton candy machine with 4.5 stars and floss sugars, and other than being a tad messy, they come together fast. If you want to simplify it, you can just use one color of cotton candy. We think three colors adds a bit of awesome though!

While my kids are not in school, and we don’t need Valentine’s cards for our homeschool co-op this year, these unicorn treat bags are their Valentine of choice for a few select friends. They are not all lovey-dovey. Just a cool thing to give your friends and enjoy! That makes them perfect for the elementary ages, when too often the messages on store bought cards are not appropriate, and you can’t use half of the cards anyway, at least not without embarrassing your kids! Sadly, I remember those days well.

Here are some more great ways to use your Unicorn Treat Bags:

  • School class parties
  • Friend gifts on holidays
  • Teacher gifts
  • Cousin gifts
  • Summer pool parties
  • Office parties (for the kiddos)
  • Block parties
  • Baby showers
