Don’t you want to just get away from it all, and have a wonderful, relaxing spa day? Or maybe you’d love to make that happen for your mom or your wife, but the closest spa is 100 miles away or costs a crazy amount of money? I’m so honored to bring you this DIY Spa Day for Moms.

This post is bursting with steps for a DIY Spa Day; recipes included! Each of the recipe links will have more details and ideas, plus a handy printable. Printed together, they can be made into a packet and included with this gift. Each recipe post will always link back to this page so that you can find them all in one place.

Do you need a little relaxation but can't get to the spa? Here are tips for a DIY Spa Day just for you. It's perfect for Mother's Day or any day of the year.

Step One: Put the Spa Day Blend into your aromatherapy diffuser about twenty minutes before you begin your spa day.

Step Two: Turn on some beautiful, soft, relaxing music or a waterfall app.

Step Three: Apply the Refreshing Cucumber Mandarin Facial Mask, staying away from your eyes. You will leave this on for 20 minutes and remove it before the end of step 4.

Step Four: Use the Relaxing Bath Salts and spend some time in the tub ignoring your worries and letting your muscles relax. This will help you prepare for the wonderful spa treatments. (Hint: If you want to save this step for the end of the day, skip to step five but rinse your face before the next step.)

Step Five: Put some water on to boil with about 20 drops of Lavender essential oil. Once it boils, remove it from the heat and add the massage rocks. This should be done by someone besides Mom! Rocks can be removed after about five minutes. Please use care as they will be very hot.

Step Six: Before your bath ends, apply the Sweet Exfoliating Sugar Scrub to hands and feet. Scrub/massage your legs and feet using this extra sweet scrub. Your feet will be so soft!

I think pajamas are now in order.

HINT: Steps 6-8 can also be completed on a smaller scale for your hands.

Step Seven: Soak your feet in the Peppermint-Mandarin Foot Soak. Have your spouse rinse your legs, and then pour hot water into your foot bath (as hot as you can stand) – adding the foot soak mixture. Keep your feet in the water until the water cools. Dry your legs and feet.

Step Eight: A foot massage using the massage rocks and the Grapefruit Mandarin Body Butter is the perfect follow up to step seven and restores moisture to your exfoliated skin. Please test the heat in the rocks on the bottom of the foot (heel or other calloused area) before beginning this step.

Step Nine: Time for some toenail paint and drying time.

The end: If you put off step four – finish with a wonderful bath and more massage butter now. Candles and an eye mask would be a nice touch.

Here’s what you are going to need for your spa day.

Mom’s Essential Kit from Rocky Mountain Oils. Many of these essential oils are included in the recipes you will find linked in this post over the coming week. Essential oils in this set include Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Lemon, Lavender, Helichrysum, Myrtle, Grapefruit, Purify, and Immune Strength.

Red Mandarin Oil from Rocky Mountain Oils. This fun candy-like citrus is one of the safest oils for family use, and is included in several of our recipes.

Fractionated Coconut Oil from Rocky Mountain Oils.

Aroma Cloud Diffuser from Rocky Mountain Oils. This is the same brand of diffuser I have in my home, and I love it! It will fill the entire main floor with the fragrance of our chosen oils.

Foot Massage Spa Bucket. This simple foot soaking tub will come in handy so often you will be surprised.

Massage Stones. No explanation needed.

Lavender Candle. Candles set the mood for spa day, especially during the bath. Lavender is relaxing too!

Pedicure Kit. All the tools needed to complete a pedicure including the foot rasp.

I am not a tub soaker. You shower to get clean. If you bathe, you wash and are sitting in the water of the stuff you just washed off.
