With December just a week or so away, it’s a great time to start thinking about how you will keep your family focus on Christ, His birth, and His purpose this year during the Christmas season. It’s not easy! One of the ways we like to come together as a family and regroup is through the daily reading of the Bible story of Jesus. If you prefer a calendar format, we also have a Bible Verse Calendar for Christmas.

The thread of Jesus’s story weaves from Genesis to Revelation, from Messianic prophecies to the visions of His triumphant return. His second Advent. The Bible verses for this printable were chosen because they tell His story leading up to His birth but with an eye to the end view. I love the precious time we spend each evening reading God’s Word together and talking about Jesus.

Do you need something to help your family focus on Christ, His birth, and His purpose during the holiday season? Try this daily Bible Verse Checklist that can be read throughout December. With 25 verses in all, it can be used to celebrate Advent or as a great tool to keep your focus on the true meaning of Christmas.

This daily Bible Verse Checklist can be read throughout December as you see fit. There are 25 verses in all. If you miss a night of reading, just keep going. Pick and choose verses to read if you want, you certainly don’t have to read them all! Having a checklist allows you to keep this super simple celebration of Advent or Christmas without stress.

Some years we do more involved Advent celebrations, but honestly some years it is all we can do to finish the Bible Verses to Read for Christmas or Advent. That’s why this simple checklist was created.

I’m so excited to be able to gift you with this free printable. I pray that it is a blessing to your family as you celebrate Christmas this year and every year!
